Ushbu maqolada kichik va mini gidroelektr stansiyalar (GES) o‘rtasidagi farqlar texnik va iqtisodiy jihatlar asosida tahlil qilinadi. Kichik va mini GESlar o‘zining ekologik tozaligi, mahalliy sharoitga mosligi va kam xarajatli qurilishi bilan alohida e’tiborni tortmoqda. Maqolada GESlarni tasniflash mezonlari, ularning quvvat diapazonlari, joylashtirish mezonlari, samaradorlik ko‘rsatkichlari hamda investitsion afzalliklari o‘rganilgan. Shuningdek, O‘zbekiston hududida bu turdagi stansiyalarni barpo etish bo‘yicha mavjud loyihalardan misollar keltirilgan va real tahlil asosida tavsiyalar berilgan.
